I don’t know your family, but I came across this website in neighbors and your story of courage. I am reminded of the words of Paul to lift up one another through our words. My heart and prayer goes to you this evening through deep sincerity. Today we live to love one another. Today we live to encourage one another. I have been greatly encouraged by your journey. What a precious gift it is to be able to love.
Thank you so much, your words mean a lot and we agree with Paul. I especially like romans …fav chapter is of course chap 8…..we love having response from our neighbors
At dark times like this, Perry and family, the pearl of great price shines all the brighter. Jesus is Lord over all this. Jesus has made precious promises to those who trust in Him. He is the resurrection and the life. He is the light of the world. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
When He brings about the eternal blessedness He has in store for His people, then they will know fully what now we grasp but in part, that “this slight momentary affliction is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”

Dear Granberrys, We don’t know you personally but learned about you through our RA connections. We have been praying daily for both Jonathan and Riley for months. We continue to bless you and believe for Riley’s total healing and for Jehovah Jireh, Our Provider, to satisfy every single need for your family. Nothing is too big for Him.
Laura, first i do apologize for such a late response to your wonderful words of encouragement…. as we have continued on into 2017, the difficulty has again increased. Grieving for loss of Jonathan has been strange when being mixed with what is still going on for ‘Riley….it does hit sometimes the obvious thought “Jonathan’s gone!”…..as we stay focused on
Rileys progress. Thank you for. Your concern and for encouraging us by your words.
I knew Jon a long time…we had worked camp briarwood together. we hung out many times. please tell chris and mary im so sorry…

Sorry for my being late in seeing this. I look much more on ‘Facebook . Sadly his last birthaday was a very sad one as he only made it a few days longer. Thank you thoug for your concern and letting us know it.
There’s no way I can understand what you all are dealing with at this time, but I hope you know that my heartfelt prayers are with you all. I’m grateful for your family and their faith journey, and I pray that God’s goodness and His plan will continue to assure you of His love.

My mother, Jan Bolla, loved you dearly! She often talked of your creative genius and how much she enjoyed you as a high school student. I wish she were here so she could minister to your heart. She once said she was grateful she got Stage 4 cancer so she could relate to others in the same boat. Her favorite saying was, “Don’t waste your suffering”. That can sure look like a lot of things. Simply sharing how painful things are or identifying ways people can help bears witness to how special it is when God shows up.Thank you for allowing your story, and your son’s, to be shared. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
Now April of 17…so sorry for tardiness and thank you for your wonderful words of your Moms memories. Sorry for your loss. Jonathan’s mom also died of cancer in 1980. She was an excellent teacher of ‘English at Homewood High.
Dear Jonathan….I know some call you Jon, but Barry always called you Jonathan, so I will too. You know I am praying, deeply and continually.mmi alsomknowmGod is hearing all our prayers….Call unto me and I (IAM) will answer. As this journey proceeds through the medical maze,my our heart can be centered,many complete,min His finished work for us? And we can also know this life is just a preparation of ‘things to come’. Trust and Faith and Hope are all available to believers in their mighty awesomeness. I love you. I love your mate. And I love your boys.

I have been following your journey just since I found it just over the last couple of weeks. I went to Rocky Ridge with Jonathan before my family moved to Mobile in 3rd grade.
